Hello everyone, I'm from NJ and am currently driving a 2006 Nissan Altima SER... but I am looking to upgrade to something newer as a quick, fun, DD. I clearly prefer sport sedan's, as my last car was a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 4dr and now I have the Altima SER.

I have always been a fan of the Taurus SHO's, even the earlier generations when I was younger, and now that I am looking for something to replace my Altima, I am considering a 4th gen used SHO. I have done a little (will do more) reading already on what can be done to these cars, and how easy it is to make power (mid-12 second DD seems feasible with a few thousand $$ and some driveway time). However, one thing I'm having trouble on grasping is what changes were made to this car during it's 4th gen run? I see there was a facelift with different grill and wheels between the 2010-2012 and 2013+ models, but what else changed at that time? Any performance/suspension/transmission changes? How about interior/infotainment/electronics, any changes there?

Lastly, I always like to hear what do you NOT like about your Taurus SHO? I saw someone post a thread on another forum asking what all the current owners DIDN'T like about their cars, and it really helped me gauge if that was a car I was interested in and could live with every day.

Thanks in adv.!

I think you mean more like around a thousand for mid to low 12's :) Plus the cost of preventive maintenance like plugs & fluids.
