New to SHO Forum - wondering about a project

Hi!

I'm new to the SHO Forum, but I was wondering about a project I had in the back of my head:

Has anyone done a RWD/V8 Taurus conversion?

Either a 5.0/5.8 pushrod V8 or a 4.6 DOHC V8 conversion?

I like the 00-up Taurus styling, but if you have any intel on such a conversion, it'd help me out.

As long as I have been in the SHO game I have never seen any successful attempts at a RWD Taurus. Be a trailblazer! And keep us updated.

Seriously, no one's done the RWD conversion, but there was speculation about a 4.6L stuffed into a Gen III Taurus running around MA as an unmarked cop car... but proof never materialized.
