Seems I will be performing the infamous plug seal change. My question is, are my almost new taylor wires ruined from sitting in the oil filled plug wells? I thought I read that the plug wires are damaged from sitting down in the oil for god knows how long. I really hope this is not the case as I would like to re use these.

Thanks
Adam

As long as they aren't shorting, they are okay. Once a carbon path forms on them though, they are toast.

I devised a "snorkel" from vinyl hose and a plastic fitting at Home Depot. I should take some pics and post them. It makes cleaning those darned plug wells a snap with a shop vac. :thumb:

I think I did the same thing to get the oil out. I bought some tubing and I used a dropper thing from my airbrush kit to get the oil out.....it worked great.:thumb:

Just make sure to clean the plug wells before you pull the plugs out...you don't want that draining into the cylinders.....
