Today, I traded my 2011 Mustang GT/CS for a Black 2013 SHO. I pick her up tomorrow morning. I was greatly impressed on the test drive. A quiet, fast touring car, without the in your face look of the GT/CS. I am looking forward to basic mods, but no drivetrain while under warranty. Hopefully, she will be as trouble free as the Mustang. Looking forward to the forum.:woo-hoo:

Welcome aboard (both of you)! Just traded my 2010 SHO for a 2013 right after Thanksgiving. SDSHO13, where in South Dakota are you? I grew up in Sioux Falls and most of my family still lives there.

I am over in Rapid City, we live in Summerset, just outside the city. Another beautiful day. Took the SHO up in the hills, with my wife for lunch. Put 100 miles on her. 50 degrees and blue sky.

Ah yes, I remember the days. I lived in Spearfish for 1 1/2 years back in the late 70's. I still miss 50's in January. Here in the Twin Cities it was in the single digits today. -4 on Monday.

And, I remember the cities in winter! We lived in Apple Valley for four years, and I had never seen snow piled that high in my life! :)

Welcome to the forum! Post pics when you get it!

Thanks typhoon 5000. This was a difficult one. I am SDCALSPCL on the Mustang Source Forum. I had a 2013 DIB Mustang GT/CS on order, and already had a contract with the dealer for a trade on my '11. But, changing circumstances required a car with a real back seat. The dealer had three SHO's so, I did some research and made them an offer.

I will post some pics as soon as I get her waxed. Hopefully this weekend.

Looks just like the one I picked up mid January. Added some wheels locks, vent visors, molded mud flaps and door edge guards. Sweet car that is for sure. Just wish I had bare ground, too much snow here in WI. Those summer tires on the performance pkg suck in the snow!!

BTW first Ford I have ever owned and always said I would never own one!

I went to St. Olaf... One winter the T/C recorded 100 days where temp was 0 or below - back in mid-60's. I came to Miami at Winter Break in late Jan, and it was -28 in Northfield, and 82 when I landed in Miami... 110 deg diff!!

That's why I'm in Naples in the winter... and Clear Lake in the summer.:thankyou:

Looks like Rapid City is better than EDINA!!!!LOL:dribble::evilgrin::evilgrin:

Thanks guys. I picked up my molded splash guards this morning and just finished putting them on. We had snow three days this week, but yesterday, the sun came back and we were in the high 30's..snow melting. Today it was almost 50 and in places you would never know we had snow. The wife and I drove into the Black Hills for lunch and then through Custer State Park, a nice 100 miles. The car handles the curves and hills really well, I am impressed. The computer said I was averaging 20.8 mpg.

I just saw your post. I will get some photos in the morning and put them up. These splash guards are molded to the car and use existing attachment points.

The Ford part numbers are:
Front: AG1Z-16A550-AA
Back : AG1Z-16A550-BA
