I'm replacing the stock POS with a pioneer HU and have a quick question for you guys. I've noticed that the power antenna wire has no wire to mate with on the HU's wireing harness. My question is, is there another wire I can mate it to so that it will still be functional? Anyone have a similar experience that they resolved? Thanks in advance

Do you mean the actual antenna cable, or the signal for the antenna to go up and down? The antenna cable should plug directly into the headunit. There should be a wire (blue I think) wire on the headunit harness for the power antenna.

i can't remember offhand what the factory wire color for the power antenna is, but to activate it, wire it to the amp turn-on wire. it's blue/white on pioneer decks.

The wire harness that i used had the power antenna cable, but no recipient wire from the harness that attaches to the back of the headunit. The factory color was blue, and you're correct about the amp wire being blue/white on the pioneer. I'll give the amp wire a try and see if it works. I get better reception with the antenna up rather than down, just a little annoyed by it I guess
