I have done the unthinkable. I pulled too ******* my brand new drivers side halfshaft. It seems that I have separated something inside. Can this be fixed or do I need a new cv shaft?

push on it... ;) There is a tri-bearing in there that sits in a tri-bearing cup. It just needs to be pushed in again. Sometimes it's very hard to do this but just move the end up and down till it pops in and it will be fine. If you have some problems doing this, whatever you were doing before might have twisted the axle making it "out of line". It's like when you were a kid and putting blocks of different sizes/shapes into the right holes. The triangle goes into the triangle slot. it would not have twisted but maybe a millimeter or 2, but it should pop back in if you wiggle and push it.

grab the hub / lugnuts and giv the axle a twist back and forth if it doesnt go right in ... not that hard to get it to pop back into place

the axle is made to slide in and out in that section (for suspension travel to keep the axle from binding) so its no big thing that it came apart like this
