Bought my 11' non PP SHO just a few months ago but I can tell she's ready for some new brakes. Looking to get pads and rotors. Drilled and slotted as well. Any suggestions out there that aren't out of this world on price??

I'm SUPER happy with my Power Stop Z23 pads and drilled/slotted rotors. Not cheap but AMAZING. They stop my lead sled incredibly well. They "growl" a bit when braking hard due to the slots, but I actually think it's kind of a cool sound. Well worth the investment, IMO.

Those rotors are eye candy. If you want them for the look, that's fine but not necessary for performance. The issue is the inadequate stock pads. Get blank rotors, and spend the $$ on pads. For street use, without track days, something like Carbotech 1521 or AX6, Hawk HP+, or EBC Red or Yellow. For track use, can't recommend the Carbotech XP10 /XP8 combo enough. Which I have run on a few cars, and I run them year round on the street. They're dusty (why I run black wheels), but they work!

Shoot thanks guys! Ron- yeah I've heard a lot about the EBC. And yeah no tracking as of right now. Mostly DD and kicking people's ass at stoplights and what not lol but thanks again I appreciate it!

Correct me if I am wrong but the 13+ rotors are larger then the 10-12, I was wondering, can those of us with 10-12 SHO, upgrade to the 13+. Not sure how much trouble it would be OR if it would even make that much of a difference but its an option, Has anyone out there tried it and if so how did it work out.
