Well I finally bought a set of all season tires for my 13 SHO today. I ended up going with the General G Max tires. I have to say first impression is very good. I drove them today for about 250 miles and love them so far. They are smooth, quiet and some nice traction and Corning also. As of now I would recommend them if you are looking for ultra high performance all season shoes.

We shall see how they perform in snow tomorrow as we are expecting over 10 inches here.

Haha it's a little early to recommend a tire with only 250 miles and that short of a time!! Let us know how it goes with the snow and ice! I went with Nitto Motivo ultra high performance all seasons (rated at 186 mph). Pretty sweet tires. 17k miles on them and still holding up fantastic. Tons of tread left and pretty good snow/ice traction for a high performance all season tire. Was able to bust through 18 inches of snow after a storm with ease! Partially thanks to the AWD system! :p Excited to see if these will hold up the whole 60k miles they are rated for.

Both these tires have been receiving good reviews by SHO owners. Please do keep updating with your experiences, guys!

I will for sure be able to rate these a lot more after today. The weather is already starting to act up thus morning. Expected to get snow/sleet mix all dat and into the night. I will be out in it to test these tires out for sure.

I almost went with the nitto tires myself but liked the pattern better on the G Max tires so figured what heck lets give them a try. I did read all the reviews on both which made the choice even harder.

I will post an update tonight on how these hold up today in the weather. Or should I say if I don't update tonight then you will know how they did if I am stuck someplace in my car lol.

Sorry I meant to post the other day after I put many more mikes on them and drive thru some snow and ice.

I have to say I am very happy with these tires all around. They drive and handle great and not one issue in the snow at all. I even had to drive thru a bit of an ice storm before the snow actually fell and they did very good on ice as well. I would recommend these tires fir sure on the SHO for all season tires.
I am glad I went this route when I picked these tires from the list I had to choose from.

These tires are excellent!!! I used them on my Audi and they performed so well I put them on my 14 SHO! Continental Tire makes General so it's an incredible tire AND the tire pattern is aggressive looking too!

I will agree that Continental makes a good tire (I use to work at Dunn Tire) and I never had any complaints while using them.

However, for my SHO I opted for the Pirelli Cinturato P7 (hope I spelled that right) and they are one **** of a lot less noisy than the BFGs that came on it. The ride is smoother, handles the same, etc...

No complaints again...so far *knock on wood*

Went through two sets of Continental on my AWD Infiniti and loved them. My new(ish - June) SHO non-pp came with AS Michelins and so far so good but a fairly unremarkable tread pattern so we'll see when the big snow comes. Had 4-5 inches a few weeks ago and went into the parking lot and hammered it a few times and was pretty impressed with the system when it kicked in.

I have Pirelli snow and ice tires from tire rack on aftermarket wheels now. They are great. 2 inches of snow, slush and some icy roads they did great.
