I'm getting ready to get the A/C system in my SHO up and running again and I was wondering what kind of oil should be put in the compressor. What I've always been told to do is drain out what it comes with and put the correct amount of the correct type in. After a little bit of searching I have not managed to find what I should use and how many ounces of it.

The manufacturer's information has the number of ounces of oil that are required in a total refill. Vague memory of somehting like 8 oz, but confirm with manufacturer if you have misplaced the literature.
I think ours are Nippondenso models, which supply a lot of imports.

Got that dang condenser out. Where is the expansion valve(orifice tube) hiding in this a/c system? I want to replace it while its apart...
