I was just perusing the calendar for July (since June's event is out for me). Looks like we have a breakfast/autox on the 7th, which is a Saturday, and on the 8th is the Wistah Summah Nationals, which is always wicked pissah. This will be followed up by a SHOshow at Kirk's (either the shop or his home depending on turnout) along with a BBQ. I got to thinking (a rare occurence), that much like we do at Ken's BBQ's, we should all donate to the cause at Kirk's as well. I haven't spoken to him about this, nor do I know how much $$ it even takes to put on a BBQ like this, but I'm thinking that we should foot the bill and not Kirk.

I'm thinking $10 a head is fair? Maybe less for kids?

Also, how about a breakfast in Warwick on the 29th of July, then cruise on down to Colt State Park in the lovely metropolis of Bristol, RI? Many opportunities for great photos, plenty of places to hang out, etc.

Jeff I'm pretty sure anyone can enter the autox. The guy to talk to here is Ken (the guy that had the Gen 1 that was race prepped at Carlisle). His screen name here is shomotion93, IIRC. If you need his contact info PM me and I'll get it to you.

Always nice to have a backup cook too, taking shifts makes things a lot easier!

Anyone looking for more info regarding the autocross event for availability and pricing on July 7th should contact Pat Madigan, Event Chairman at [email protected]
Prehaps if Mr. Seeger sees this he can add more info / links as the event is sponsored by the SVT Cobra Mustang Club.
