Check out the Sirius Channel guide. There is a station for whatever your pleasure.

In the ***** I have Sat1, Sat2 and Sat3 ..... preset one on all is Howard 100

Have they decided what is going on with channels now that the merger was approved?

Last I heard with the merger - you have to pay an additional cost to recieve ALL the channels. This is for both XM or Sirus subscribers. Don't know if that will change or not. Some of the big XM DJ's moved over to Sirus to get XM listeners to pay for Sirus service on thier recievers. They wern't stupid.

I'm one of those people that don't know what I am missing.

Seriously, a complete channel for AC/DC???? Gawd, I could drive Andy insane!! Okay, more than I usually do.....
There are dedicated Elvis and Springsteen channels on Sirius. AC/DC is suppose to be temporary for the upcoming album release, but who knows?

BTW, I don't care much about the merger. Sirius rocks XM. I've been contemplating using a Sirius tuner piggybacking the XM in the V. It will be nice to not have to pay 2 accounts so if this merger happens quickly...

????

That makes no sense. There's no merger yet, nor is there a receiver that receives both services (that I'm aware of). Music DJs on satellite are less relevant than on terrestrial radio.

If any moved, I'll bet it's because they may have caught wind of their XM station being eliminated. OTOH, DJs on Sirius seem to move around among their various music channels.

I just hope they keep the non-syndicated talk shows from each of the services.

Ron, from what I understood once everything is finalized all old radios would work with both services. Doing some reading, looks like the first "hybrid" plan will be available this fall.

I haven't kept up on it lately, but I got the impression that it will just be one service. Obviously there's a bunch of overlap in the music arena, as well as the syndicated shows (Fox Talk, etc), but I hope they keep most, if not all, of thge talk shows. I like everything on Sirius Patriot, and the XM side has some good folks, also.

Howard Stern was talking about hte merger. Thats where I got my info from. I could oif heard it wrong. He mentioned that there was going to be additional cost for Sirius listeners to hear XM channels and vis-versa.

A buddy of mine from work told me that most radios will upgrade pending your service. A month ago my radio upgraded when I plugged it in. I don't know for what but it was around hte same time I heard Stern talking about it.

I do Bill Bennett in the morning (probably the most thoughtful show), followed by either Mike Church or Brian & The Judge. Bill O'Reilly 12-2, then Andrew Wilcow 2 - 3 (unless O'Reilly has a guest host, then Wilcow 12-3). Sean, then usually John Gibson (one of my favorites), or Mark Levin if Gibson has a guest host.

Sirius is invaluable for 12 hours in the work trailer, even though I have Fox News on Direct TV on all day with the sound down.

Also Cigar Dave on Patriot on Saturdays Noon-2 is good.
