Just noticed recently that when it was rubbing on the Altinator pully it rubbed a good amount or wire off and now my lights flicker but the car starts up fine.. What should i do? I'll change the wire but is the battery ruined too?

+1. Batteries aren't *that* fragile. it should be ok. Just replace the cable and you should be fine.

I would check the connectors, though.

Damn dude, you're a rolling disaster . . . .

If you keep waiting until things break, most SHOs will nickle-and-dime you to death. If you do nothing more than simply periodically look under the car and check under the hood every time you get gas, you can often catch some of the minor things that can strand you.
