Needs to be LOWER!!

Hey guys, well Im really tired of the truck ride height that my SHO has with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs I have on there. I can't believe they have the cojones to call these "lowering springs." Anyways, someone was telling me that theres a way to further lower the front end by some pinch bolt on the front struts?? Is there an exact name for this and where exactly is it located so I can get this car LOWER?!?

I am also in the same boat as you. But from the look of it I can't fit my index finger between the spring perch and the tire as it is. So maybe 1/2" is all I am going to be able to go down. I also am running 225/50-16's.

So you think Coils are better? Do MOOG springs lower the car? They're alot cheaper than Eibach's, I know they perform very well, but I want a lower stance...

Anyways, Have you thought about Intrax springs luke? They lower the car quite a bit more, cant wait until I get mine on.

I wonder what Tokico would think if you ever sent back a strut for warranty with the tab cut off of it? I bet the would use it against you. I am not sure what to do cut the tab off or cut a coil out out of the springs.

Cut Springs

I just cut 1/2 coil out of the stock springs and it lowered it about an inch. After i align it tomorrow, I'll let you know how it rides.

lately, there have been many threads covering springs. perform a search and youll find what ive done with my car.

Just switch over to Intrax springs. You already have performance struts to handle the eibachs so a spring swap is simple. I just saw a set selling for $150 on ebay, and you can buy new for $178. The ride isn't too too bad, but the look is killer, plus you have the option of going lower with the 3 dead coils that are included. I highly suggest alignment accessories with the springs though such as eccentric front strut mounts and eccentric bushings for the rear LCA's.

Yeah thats what I was thinking,thats why I said the bottle. But I heard him mention a blower. The bottle isn't on at all times so it's most of the time NA.

I have posted some pics of SHO's that are stock, Intrax/Tokiko and SS/Koni. The SS/Koni sits the lowest. I scrape my subframe connectors on speed bumps unless I creep over them.
