Needed Details on 60K Valve lash, shimms etc.

Getting ready to do the deed ,I was wondering if anyone has the details on valve lash, shimms,and related to making sure the service was done before, besides that there is oil in the plug wells and wanted to see the condition of the shimms etc.. I'm ordering my kit from SP Motorsports ...My SHO 1991 3.0L Yamaha 103,000 Miles. Thanks for any help my e-mail is in my profile Vince7...
