Sorry I'm pulling this old thread back now but I can't find the STI either and it's nowhere to be found! Are there actually any Tauruses made without that?

Colors for the C102 Diagnostic plug are: BK/W, T/R, T/LG (2) so that's 4 cables.

I'm missing the color for the C103 STI connector. Any help here? Thanks!

Konrad.

Little update here turns out there is ANOTHER cable on the C102 connector and it's white/yellowish and black isn't that not supposed to be there?

The color for the STI should be White and Black according to the vacumm and troubleshooting manual.

Tasty Danish, it sounds like the motor has been out of your car (with the re-bore mention), so who knows what happened to your connector?
I would try to unwrap the harness in the general area (look at another 92) and find the wire in the loom (should be the only one broken off).
Its not there because it got caught on the exhaust manifold when the motor got pulled out the top (if it did go out the top).

I have seen before where the shell for the connector has fallen off the STI and it was put into one of the empty slots on the bigger main connector

Hey that sounds about right! Maybe my extra cable is the STI im just not certain and scared to try the test with a voltmeter and jumper cable and then frying out my computer.

The vacumm and electrical troubleshooting manual says the STI should be white/black, mine is like cream/black.
