I need the wiring harness that allows me to tie into the jbl system in my 91 cause it has a tape am/fm plus it isn't working right now. I'm thinking of a cheap aiwa mp3 player just to get some music in there. Where can I get the harness & is there anything special I have to do to tie into the jbl? Thanks in advance.

Your local audio shop should be able to suply you with a Ford Low Level & Amp By-pass cable wiring harness. If they use Metra Install kits the Part # is 70-5514. The price should be around $30.

Just color code the wires together and plug in the clips to the factory wiring. The amp by-pass could be/couldn't be used .... depends on the sound of your liking.

On wiring up the radio. Make shur you connect the power antenna AND the remote amp turn-on (blue/white chaser) wires together with the Accesory turn on wire coming out of the radio. This will turn on the JBL amp AND raise your antenna.

From what i'm told you will still have that function available.

One thing I do know is the radio that Eric is selling has the wiring harness included. Just a simple install of the radio sleeve, plug in harness, slide radio in lock position, and play.

If you want just the harness you can E-mail me off the forum at .... [emial][email protected][/email].
