Need Stereo Help

I have just installed my 1994 model panasonic am/fm/cd player in my 94 sho. it is model DP34U. For some reason the display screen does not light up like it is supposed to. It worked fine last time I used it. Best Buy says all the wires are connected corectly. The buttons light up but not the display that shows what radio station is playing or what cd track is playing do not. Any help out there?

Well no one posted so i figured i would cause i feel bad for these kinda posts, listen man, its a 1994 CD player, CD players can be had for under $100 on ebay and such, its just cause its old, nothing to do with you...

I'd check the connection where the face meets the stereo. I'm assuming it has a detachable face... You could clean it with a tooth brush or something.

Try pushing the reset button to see if that helps.
