By the time the dust settles, that trade will cost you upwards of $3800. Essentially, your getting a year newer, different color and 25K less miles. How long do you normally hang on to a car? Nowadays, it's not unusual to get well over 100K miles on a car so in effect, you're extending the time you'll be getting a new car. Another way to look at this is to look up value of each car on AutoTrader, KBB, etc. In my situation, I got a very low mileage '10 and am at the point where I could either get a new one while the one I got is still worth a decent amount, or keep it for several more years. I checked how much a new one would cost me and they got some really decent cash incentives. That made me decide to go ahead and get a new one. And you can still order a 2015 if you so desire. Just trying to give you different ways to look at this to make a decision.
