heh it may be, but it's still fun to look at different wear patterns =)
plus it's always nice to have something to compare to.... at least for me

I know that if you would have continued to drive the car the way it is, it wouldn't have lasted until now. You would have spun a bearing by now. I would really like to see how bad it is before you get the bearings just so you don't have to waste the money if it is a lost cause. In my opinion I still think it is save able but dont quote me on it.

the bearings are already coming, but if worse comes to worst, then the crank might need to get shaved down or replaced

Yep. Thats easier said than done my friend. Thats more $ and about 6-8 more hours atleast.

BTW dropping the crank doesnt seem like much of a fun afternoon to me...

its really easy getting the crank out... its hard to get it out and be able to put it back in :evilgrin:


yeah much easier out of the car... ive done that
