I have the engine and tranny out of the car and need to separate them. I have removed every bolt I see but think that the ones on the torque convertor to flexplate must be removed. Is that so? The dust cover is in the way to get a socket and ratchet on there. Is there anything else that could be holding it together? Any ideas, I could use all the info possible.

Once you have the starter out and the two lower pan bolts the dust sheild will slip right out. There is pleanty of room to get to all four bolts through the starter hole at this point. Good Luck.
