Need help in Detroit...

Hey everyone,

I'm buying a SHO in October for a really good price. Although the engine burns a bit of oil. I was wondering if someone would be down to help me fix the SHO? Could be a cool project. Let me know, thanks a million.

Sure will.

This is what's going on with the SHO. I plan on using her during the winter, and a daily driver. It burns oil, and has a tad drivability issue. Smokes out the tail pipe, but then again Im getting it for $500. So not bad at all.... I was thinking about swapping out the motor. Or do you think I should wait, and build this one up?

It smokes out the tail pipe at ALL times. At startup and while driving. Blue smoke.

Most likely valve seals. Frst thing to try is Castrol High Mileage10W-30.Valvoline is the 2nd choise, and forgot the rest. It cut my oil usage from a qt every 800 miles to a qt every 1,600 miles on my '94 MTX.

It also did close to the same on my '95 MTX that had leaky crank seals.

Just get a rod shifter and it will be all good!

the tranny had a crack in the bellhousing and no1 wanted to buy the car even at 500 as is. so its currently being parted and im gettin rear disk swap.
