Where can I get a set of valve cover gaskets for my 1995 SHO 3.0L MTX? SHO Source lists a kit of gaskets, grommets and spark plug seals. (3.0L/3.2L SHO Valve Cover Bolt Grommet Kit 89-95) However, I'm not sure if SHO source site is still functional as I'm getting internal error trying to checkout or when logging in. Can someone tell me where else (besides SHO source) I can get these parts?

Hi Irish Pride. Thank you for responding so quickly. When I looked at the link you posted; https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...+dohc,1138665,engine,valve+cover+gasket,10710
this points to 1991 Taurus on RocAuto site, would these parts be the same for 95 SHO?

Also there're 3 (three) different kits listed...which one should I choose to make sure it fits 100%?

That Felpro set is actually cheap. I've seen them in the $85 range before.

I have one more question - two of the valve cover bolts on my 95 SHO MTX are damaged and need replacement...Do you know where I can find them? Thanks!

Post in the Want To Buy section here on the forum or head to a junk yard. They are not available new.

Thanks, I got the two replacement bolts from sho source. But just a set of grommets / washers there is quite expensive, should I bother getting them?

If you have some ugly washers, you can replace them, or simply move them to the back top of the engine where nobody can see.

Grommets is up to you, they'll likely be hardened from age but reusable. You can goop them up with blue gasket maker if you've been getting oily valve covers around the bolts, but I haven't needed it.

At this age I would consider it. It depends on how degraded the original rubber has become.
