Ok I know you should search before posting but after reading almost all of the posts haveing to do with "crank bolts" I only found out two things!
#1- I learned the signs of a rod bearing going out (wish I would have knew that before mine blew)
#2- I learned every way possible to remove the crank bolt if the motor is in the car!
Ok now for my problem... I need to get the crank bolt off, but the motor is out of the car and on an engine stand (so I can't put a flex plate on the other side to hold the crank). I need to get the bolt and the pully off so I can replace the timing belt and crank sensor and water pump before I put this motor into my car! My search didn't bring up anything about removeing a crank bolt on a motor that is out of the car so if anyone can help please do!
