my starter is dead
I am stranded at my house

wanted to get fixed today (so can go to cousins for easter tomorrow)

if anyone would be willing to help me change the starter
and would like to make some cash at the same time

then please reply asap

(I do not have a jack -- I may or may not have tools -- i need to search for them --- and I have very limited mechanical skills -- actually no mechanical skills)

That may help you a little. The job is very easy to do. You don't need to have the car high in the air as long as you can get under it a bit. Even if you can get one wheel up on a curb or drive the car over a ditch you could do it with out a jack. Worst case you cannot move the car. You do have a jack in the trunk. Check owners manual for instructions. Be careful with this jack. Once its in the air you could put blocks of wood under the sub frame (engine cradle) at the front. Then lower the car on to the supports. This would work If it needed to be done.
