One of the studs that threads into the exhaust manifold and holds the Y-pipe on busted while I removed mine. I have been all over my town and to Ford, where a friend of mine works. I watched him to the search and he came up with nothing. During the process of patching everything back up from the rod bearing swap my oil pickup tube studs were stripped, I was then informed they are the same studs as the Thermostat housing, well the search at Ford revealed the same thing, nothing. I am going to try FPS my car is helpless can anybody help or point me in the right direction? Thanx,
Doug

Geez! This has to be broken stud and bolt month. Autozone rules man, I'm still sorting mine out because i've broken to actual water outlets while carefully restudding. The t-stat stud is the m6, just bring with you the studs you need, you can take them out with vice grips, and autozone has them all behind the counter. Now be very very careful as this metal is frail as ****, I was more careful that I could ever be and I just broke another water outlet, where the stud threads in to the bottom.

I'll mail you an exhaust manifold for $15+ S.H if you want. Both of the studs are good on it. LMK thumb

Doug, you don't need to mess with your thermostat housing studs. I got the thermostat housing cover studs out of my spare engine with no damage. Also got a pair of slightly shorter studs from autozone. So you just need to worry about that exhaust stud you broke.

half-way there, I think.
I got my spare exhaust studs from Ford a few months back - no problem other than I had to hold the parts guys hand until he found it.
