DHMAG,
The Nippondenso 10P15F is the right compressor. A new one, with a new clutch, coil, and pulley is about $300. If you want to try an FS10 you need to determine if the mounting bolt pattern is the same, if the pulley is the same distance from the compressor, that is, will the pulley line up with the crankshaft pulley and the alternator pulley?
You also will want to know whether the manifolds are compatable, or will you have to replace the manifolds. If the manifolds have to be replaced, will the replacements fit the rest of your A/C "plumbing"?
You can get a Rebuilt compressor for about $225, including the clutch, coil, and pulley.
If you are replacing the compressor, it is best to replace the filter/dryer. For a small additional amount you should replace the oriface. The most reliable way to do this is to replace the whole line that has the oriface in it.
Get a flushing kit and clean all of the A/C components that you do no replace. After doing all this you may as well convert to R-134a.
This will be a fun project. Expect a lot of nicks and scratches. Not to the car, but to your hands and arms! There are a lot of sharp objects in the tight places you have to put your hands and arms into to reach the connections and such! Hope this helps. rangerj
