This has been an ongoing problem. It mostly happens at 60mph. I have a new tranny with 20k on it. When new it was perfect. Now at 20mph if you give it gas it will bang into 2nd. At 40mph sometimes it will shift hard into 2nd. At 60mph it will seem to rev to high (at that moment the car is accelerating but not fully) it will then hit rough into second (then it will accerate fully) into 2nd gear. The tranny fluid smells burnt yet it is clean and clear no particles. (MikeyTaurus) says that my tranny is fine. Well i want this problem fixed. Could it be the VSS, Tranny mount, or do i need to change the tranny fluid? Please help me for i want this fixed. PS i have takin it to my ford dealer and they said it was fine. Very hard to believe.
