Hey, new here.

I’ve always been into these cars.

Bought this 93 automatic cheap as a project to piddle with. Only has 125k miles.

Owner said it just needed a cam position sensor. Fast forward, has a lot more wrong with it.

Intake cam seemed to have locked up and chewed teeth off the timing belt. Carnage to head, cam and cam cap. Botto end seems fine, as I have pulled both heads at this point.

Where should I go from here? Try to find a used replacement fully assembled head? Buy remanufactured head and get it assembled, but don’t where to source new cam, valves and springs? Scrap it at this point?

Will 3.0 heads fit on the 3.2?

Heads are interchangeable. However the front head is cast slightly different for accessory mounting. 3.2 cams are also different. For ease I would stick with 3.2 head replacements.
Heads are plentlyful, I would attempt to find a replacement close to North Carolina.

I’ve been looking, but don’t have any good sources.

Looks like you joined the Forum today.
There are several members here with large collections of parts.
Make a wanted to buy ad on the forum.
There are several Facebook groups with connections to parts.
I have a stack of heads, but shipping from Wisconsin probably is not cost effective.
I know there are members here from NC.

So I am currently swapping 3.2 heads for 3.0, so they are interchangeable
And for the heads, valves, and everythingelse themselves i would go over to either shosource.com, or shonutperformance.com

You can also message the guys at shosource.com, they have a LOT of parts that can help you out

I've got used heads and used cams. I can ship them to NC. There were also some NOS 3.2 heads on ebay a while ago. They may still be there. I think they were a little pricey.
