Need a throttle cable....

My throttle cable is down to about three strands, and my friendly local dealer says that the F4DZ9A758A cable is obsolete.

The parts mgr. searched on-line and couldn't find a dealer showing any stock.

This is for a '95 ATX.

Anybody got one or any leads on where to get one?

Keep checking around at Ford dealers. My father manages a Ford dealer and we had no problem special ordering one. The cable was there in less than a week. If they look, they will find.

SDPatt replaced mine about a month ago.

i know what u mean. the throttle cable on my 91 mtx is a bear to push down. Long drives completely wear my leg out. I haven't looked for a new on yet but i need to get a new one.
