I have a Gen II SHO with the Premium sound, (Not JBL) and I want a trunk mount CD changer that uses the FM input, around 10 to 12 cd's. Don't want to mess with my factory audio. Anyone have any recomendations? Brands, Stuff to avoid? Since I am a Fold Ucker, I don't need or want the severe, thump your hearing out stereo. (Already accomplished that around various Drag cars for fifteen plus years)
Thanks
Bill

hey bill, my cousin had one of the fm modulated pioneer changers, he loved it, and i was impressed as well when i heard it. and he actually had it in a 97 taurus, so i know it will fit no problems. i would think if you stick with, sony, pioneer, or even jvc, you will be in the ok range, and most likely save some money. hope this helps!

When you are burning CD's, are you finalizing the session? The Sony unit that I am looking at says it will play FINALIZED burned CD's. (Don't have the model number handy) The wife plans on getting me this for Christmas. I had mixed results with burinig CD's and couldn't get any of them to play until I told the burning program to finalize the session. ????
Thanks for the replies.

use nero, all the way, always gets the highest ratings. i know you can get it off kazaa. (place disclaimer here)--> not that i condone those sorts of things though ::cough cough:: but yeah, nero, all the way, always burns at least 30 seconds quicker than easy cd as well. i know, i used to use it too wink

i bought a sony 10 disc right after i got my car and i like it. i got it as an open box buy with all the reg warranty and extended warranty. got a great deal on it and no probs at all. i had circuit city install it because i didn't want to deal with all the BS. i did not get a manaul and they did not tell me how to use it either, i was fiddling with it and figured out that i had to change the fm channel to 88.3. BTW my cd burner sucks and works like crap. i used adaptec software, i woudl get errors all the time making my cdr's become coasters. also when i did cd to cd i would get a skips/static all the time.
