SHO POWER!!!
Let me start off by saying that everbody is fine and nobody got hurt. I was driving down the road today for the first time in about a month. As many of you know I just put in a new trans. So this was the first time I took it out. Everthing was going good, and I was only doing about 30mph. Then all of the sudden I heard BOOM!!!! The car went straight off the road right for a bush with a tree in the middle. It stoped half way in the bush. I thought the tire blew or something because it made the BOOM. But the tire was fine. Then I thought it was a axle but i couldn't see it because of the bush. I called up a tow truck and got it back to my house. crying at this point because my car is all messed up, and my tire was all pushed up in my fender, all of this just after I got the car back together. I got it home and going trough the reckage found that the spindal came off the ball joint.
This is where it gets weird. The bolt that holds the spindal onto the ball joint was tight. I know i need new ball joints but i didn't know it was that bad. I didn't think this could happen unless the spindal itself it bad?? Im confused here. If the spindal poped off do you think it is the spindal or just the ball joint. So what do you guys think. Im considering just putting a new spindal, and brakes on that side because i can't get the brake off because the bolts are striped. So I think I am just going to get a good spindal and brake assemble, and 2 new ball joints.
