Well, I've been starting to get this noise now every time I drive about 10+ miles. You can hear it when I start to rev between 1k to 1.5k rpm.

To hear the noise thanks to my wonderful blackberry and because I was alone, you'll have to turn up the speaker volume and everything to the maximum to hear this noise.

Sounds like a rattle, or a knock.. Not really sure. Here's the link

Thanks for any input.

Input about me taking another video of this noise is much appreciated as well ;)

OMG RODBEARINGS.

I honestly don't hear much in that video....does it sound like its coming from under the hood? You may have to make a video from the engine bay if it is.

I can't really hear it the video but you might want to check the torque on your main crank pully bolt. Mine back off on my 94 mtx once and it was a weird rattle.... Don't drive it until you check it. I think the torque is like a 130lbs but check the forum. I am sure there is a post about it.

Thanks guys for the input. I've been hearing this sound for about a month now, and well I've still been driving and sometimes drive it hard.

I will have to continue this thread by posting a much clearer and more soundful video.

Just an update from today, I got the car warmed up and I tried to mimic the noise that I made in the video that is posted. Turns out if I rev the car in neutral, it will not make any noise at all.

But if i engage the clutch, it will make the noise in the video...Could it be a noisy throw-out bearing?

throwout bearing if its coming from the driver side. Does it it make the same noise when in gear or just in neutral?:. If the noise is coming from the passenger side, it could be the main crank bolt needs torqued as I mentioned before.

So far it does this when going into gear as well as neutral when the car is warmed up quite a bit and driven around. If it's left out for quite a bit without being driven it won't make this noise.

It sounds as if it's coming from both sides, it can be heard from both sides I think.
