After putting the engine back in, I have a mysterious connector that doesn't seem to go to anything.. I'm thinking it must have something to do with the horn, since it's not working. It's in the same wiring bundle as an 8-pin round red plug (not shown).

Any ideas?

Hmm, I don't think that goes to anything, I believe the one on mine isn't connected to anything.

It defiantely doesn't look long enough to reach the horn...

Check your horn itself and the clockspring if it doesn't work.

I know what it is for but just can't think of it right now, some diagnostic port for something I think. It doesn't get connected to anything. Don't worry about it.

Thanks, glad to hear it's not supposed to be hooked up. I thought the contacts did look a little dirty for something that was supposed to be connected.

I probably pulled the connector off the horn when I was fidding with the engine reinstall. I'll have a closer look.
