What bushing is this pictured here? pic 1 both sides are pretty shot and actually the other side is worse.

Secondly These are going to be replaced with AlSFB soon, do they appear to be in a bad condition such that they will be a pain to work on. Also am i going to need the recall kit?

Pic 1 is the swaybar endlinks. They do not have a replaceable bushing and you will need to replace the entire endlink. There are many replacement options. Anywhere from your local autoparts store or any of the vendors on the forum.

The SFBs should not be too difficult to replace. Mine were original 14 year old bushings when we replaced them and they came right off. The recall kits are a great way to get new bolts. For the price, I'd recommend getting two kits and replacing the bolts. "Better safe than sorry."

Since your not in the "rust belt" I don't think you would need to worry about the recall kit for the SFBs. I live in NC also and my SHO has been here all it's life, and my SFB bolts came out with no problems and looked fine when I removed them.

what's the best for replacement of the swaybar endlinks, any suggestions or is one just as good as any(dumb question cause i know there is always something better) but what's the consensus?

I have the TRW replacement part available from Advance Auto. I can't recommend them as I am on my 2nd set in less than 1 year. The "heavy duty" plastic units are not known to be the best with members on the forum. FYI, I had to insert additional grease on my current set to avoid the quick wear life on the ball joints. So far so good. I believe both Josh @ shonutperformance.com and Mikey at midwestsho.com offer the aluminum endlinks that have a more favorable review! Lesson learned....

the motorcraft (Al) ones better than the moog (Steel) both coming in at the same price?

I think right now most people are recomending the AL Windstar units from Ford. I'm not sure if they have a grease fitting in them or not but personally I would go with one with a grease fitting, I have the plastic ones right now and I cannot reccomend them either. I aleady had to replace one of them and next time I get a chance I'm going to replace them both with something better.
