I masked it off and painted it in place (most time consuming part of the project). The Ford emblem is convex, so I had to add some more adhesive material to the bottom of the backside of the SHO emblem so it would attach flush. I thought about cutting off the ECOBOOST section of the emblem but it would look cut off, as the bottoms of the letters merge with the ECOBOOST section.[/QUOTE]
Yeah, they do. I had to massage mine so it looked cleaner when I re-arranged my trunk lid. And on that you see them when you raise the trunk. Least on yours someone really has to get down on their hands and knees to inspect it. Good idea nonetheless. Kudos for just being different bro!![]()

Thanks for the kudos! I though about making a sticker (still might) to go over the ECOBOOST portion of the emblem that says: TWIN TURBO
That black plastic cover just is not doing it for me.
