my clutch vibrates

Just put a new tranny and clutch in and now when I barly rest my foot on my clutch pedal I can fill it vibrating and also when I push in my clutch it makes a buzz type noise. does any one know what causes this. thanks guys

The pressure plate bolts weren't torqued properly. The installer probably didn't use loctite on them. Take it apart again. Check shotimes for more info on that subject.

yeah i put my clutch in myself and we did torque them properley you torque them in a certain patter at 20 pounds and then at 25 pounds, i know they are right.

It could be something as simple as the spring in the clutch pedal assembly itself. You have to take the whole clutch pedal assy out...there is a spring that rests against the inside of the sheet metal clutch arm. I bonded 2 layers of bicycle inner tube to the clutch arm where the spring sits. No more buzz. Cheap and easy thing to do before ripping the tranny out again.

Don't get your hopes up. If its buzz spot some grease at the inside cable where it enters the casing. If it vibrates, and stops when the pedal is pushed in, and you did'nt glue in the bolts. its comming loose.
