my car likes cold weather

howcome my shos like the cold weather better than any other weather? both my supercharged one and my normal atx. they both loose power and reponse time when its not cold. is it something to do with my o2 sensors?

All combustion engines make more power when the intake charge is colder. The colder the air, the denser the charge. Cold air is denser than hot air.
