The smog pump was covered under a recall. Had mine done on my 96 WS-6 at a local dealer...and the car still sux ass lol. It is what it is, we're gluttons for cars sometimes

If it hasn't been performed already, a recall is a recall. Worth asking about anyway Who knows what the rules are at the "new" GM.

the part isn't that expensive. would cost me almost as much to have it towed to the dealer. since I don't have insurance on it cant drive it myself

Dang, that sux. I had mine done about a year ago tho so it's still valid. Maybe it's depending on the dealer?
