My apologies in advance for the long post. It's my first so bare with me...
Here is a list of current problems I am having with my 90 MTX ..
1. No low end power (boggs from 2000RPM until the secondaries open at 4000rpm)
2. Hard starts becoming more and more frequent. (Almost daily)
3. Recently developed a slight engine tick at idle coming from rear drivers side. (I took oil cap off to see if it got louder and it did not)
4. Possible bad motor mount (scars on top pass side of intake)
5. There's a grinding noise behind dash that sounds like a handheld egg beater turning but only when it's cold outside (30 degrees or less).
6. Hard shifting when in cold temperatures. (110k on original clutch).
Here is what I have done: (Current miles at 110K)
Top end maintenance at 95K (Valve adj, plugs, wires, plug well seals, gaskets)
Lower end maintenance at 105K (Water pump, timing belt, accessory belts, ect..)
New...TPS, ACT, Crank sensor, fuel filter, brake lines, proportioning valve, radiator, starter, exhaust, springs, control arms, halfshafts, struts & mounts.
I run the codes weekly and I am getting an 11 for both KOEO and KOER and cyl balance test code 9.
The only other thing I can think of that would cause the slip in power would be my clutch, but I am at my wits end here and ready to give up on the SHO.
Any help or suggestions would be immensely appreciated!!!
Thank you....
