how hard is it to find a good mtx tranny and about how much should i pay for one? thanks

You can usually pick up a used trans for 250 - 300. As far as a "good" one, it's a crap shoot. None are new and the amount of wear varies. If you can hook up with someone with a good reputation, you have a better chance. Good Luck!

Most yards around the Detroit area can get me a trans for the $350 range.
