MTX Swap?

Hi there, I currently have a 95 ATX and have been looking into switching it into an MTX. I know its going to be a large project and this will be like my first "big" one. I do know the baseline of what I need to do and have some help from techs that I have gotten to know, but would like to reach out to you guys and see if anyone has done it? If theres like a walkthrough or big pointers that you guys wish you knew before you have done it.

Gen 1 used in swap

Im sorry if this has been asked before but i cant seem to find much info on this. Is it possible to use a 89-91 sho as a donor car for a 1993 atx to mtx conversion ? Most of what i have seen is people sugesting using a gen 2 trans in the swap.
