MTX Prob's!!!!!!!!!! Need Help Today

On my way in this morning I noticed that all of a sudden I could feel the engine torque (it was moving the shifter) and just about everything else in the shifter. The next shift was terribly sloppy and getting it into first became more difficult as I went. I laid underneath and best I could in the dark and no jack, and felt around at the base. The "Box", control box? was moving freely side to side. It seems as if one of the studs that hold it in place have busted, or corroded off. How serious is this?? Is it a reasonably easy fix?? Any suggestions?? Is it okay to drive home?? Can I buy the parts to fix it?? Thanks in advance to all who reply thumbs_u

If it's the motor mount, yes, it's easy and cheap to fix.

The black box portion of the shifter below the handle should be able to slide fore and aft to allow for engine movement in the mounts. If you could move the box side to side, something has come loose. It may be as simple as the nuts coming loose, but you need to do a more detailed inspection.
