It'll bolt on, yea. The MTX has a 3.0L, ATX 3.2. The mores are just a little bigger, but the intake should bolt right up.
Problem is the ATX and MTX have a little different vacuum systems. The intake will bolt up, but the MTX intake probably won't have the EGR vacuum hookup.
To save yourself the headache, get an ATX intake. I know a guy that is junking a SHO with an ATX, and the intake is pulled off. You want me to see how much he wants for it?

Yup, it will fit fine, but the atx pcm will complain about the lack of egr and will light the cel after the engine warms up every time. And, you will need to plug the egr port on the exhaust manifold.

iirc, the throttle cable attachments are slightly different, so you might need to do a little work to make the atx cable attach to the mtx throttle body, if that is what you are doing.

It will fit but not work. You need hte EGR tube as well as a place for the module on the back of the ATX intake.
