mtx in madison?

im lookin for another mtx in the madison area. i just did some work on my car and have never really had it running "right". im looking for someone who has a good running car to possibly go side by side and see how bad it is but to drive my car and see where they think i need some work. this is my first sho so im still learning about these cars, they are so much different from anything ive owned before! thanks guys

even if not, codes can be stored that dont give a CEL...

i know nothing about its service history but i can tell u it threw o2 codes, vss code, and an ignition code. since i bought it ive changed the valve cover gaskets, vss, plugs and wires, rear brake line and caliper, bypassed the coolant from the tb and its running 10 times better, i just wanted to get someone else who owns one in the area to drive/listen to it and tell me what they think cause im used to 4 cylinders so like i said before this is all new to me

neg1ohs did that with me when his was bad i left him sleeping from 40 in seconed. but he's got it fixed, it its a decent way to test it

g/f says she notices a difference, i personally dont really feel a difference besides during shifting and while going from a stop, other than that, i dont really feel a difference in acceleration or anything

try 40 mph in seconed and floor it to redline should throw ya in the seat mine always does

yeah i knew something was up cuz car really didnt move so i took my intake off after i raced mike and i was running on 5cylinders and a bunch of otehr stuff that wasnt hooked up so yeah it isnt hard.just gets annoying sometimes.

real anoying, things seem to go on that car one after another, just this morning i went out ther to look at something and i musta snapped my hood release cable now cause i had to jimmy my hood open, glad i didnt put my grill on when i was done

replace the O2s if you havent yet... the difference will be pretty noticeable... plus your gas mileage will be alot better.

think he just wants an idea if its still slower than normal. mine is as stock as it gets and it throws me in the seat everytime
