actually, i'd like to see some pics of the console to see how clean the install inside the car is with the stick and the boot, and how high the stick...sticks up.

I have to admit I have never been able to figure out the point of burn outs like that, let alone a contest about doing it. Obviously a fair number of people enjoy it, though. :)

After seeing two MTX V8 SHO's from NESHO in person I can tell you that this swap is a MUST HAVE for the V8 Enthusiast. Between seeing Kirk do a MASSIVE burnout and let alone just hearing these things rowing through the gears on the way to the fair grounds I would not hesitate to have a MTX V8 if I had the money. The installs look awsome and very factory and right at home (Ecspecially with the 05+ Mustang GT Shift knobs). Word on the street is that one of the cars was seeing nearly 30 MPG on the way to Carlisle as well. Not to spiffy!

This is a great time to be a V8 SHO owner as in my opinion you guy's are finially seeing the attention that you diserve.

It's just one of those things that gets people's blood pumping. No logic behind it whatsoever!
My car is now at NESHO. Get r Done...
I'm not sure I have it in me to do another V8 MTX conversion. Bribery costs will be high on this one...
I'm just waiting to hear a price for the parts.
We still have to iron that all out. It's still going to depend on whether the customer provides the tranny, clutch kit, flywheel, clutch quadrant, clutch cable, shifter, etc. or if NESHO does. We also have to figure out a price on the adapter plates and spacers since this last batch was done in a lightning-fast turn-around paying a premium for everything. Plus, every car is going to have it's own challenges which makes setting a fixed price nearly impossible. In the end, expect a ballpark range.

Best bet for people seriously interested is to contact Kirk directly. While we did Muldoon's car in a day and a half, realistically this will probably be a 1 or 2-week turnaround on an average car.

The idea was to look factory stock. Here is a picture of interior after I finished the project.

This is basically what Kirks kit will look like inside.

Any better way to get ahold of Kirk than pm and the number at NESHO? Voicemail is full and he hasn't gotten back to me over pm. Thanks.

Sweet Jesus. Thank you guys so much. I was looking for a reason not to trade this car for a fusion sport, and now I have it. Thank you!

Yes I got 29.687 mpg which is roughly 6 mpg better then before I have been nothing but happy with this kit! It is worth every penny it is an entirly new feel to the car it doesn't feel so sloppy everythings rite there and you find out what these motors can do plus it's a couple hundred pounds lighter then the auto send me a pm if u have questions I'll be glad to answer ur questions

You can try calling around 10AM on weekdays, that's usually a good time to reach him.

Otherwise, email is the best bet: [email protected]

This week everyone is still catching up since getting back from Carlisle, so next week may be better.

Kirk, you should have done this two years ago. I so would have ditched the ATX then.

Now's not a good time (financially) for me. Next year we'll see. But I'd probably need a good shell too.
