Did the manual transaxle change at all between 89-95. I know in 91 it switched from cable to rod but would a Gen 1 tranny have any problems hooking up to a Gen 2. Any imput would be appreciated.

sunny San Juan Bautista,
I think the only change was the switch from brass syncro blocking rings to fiber backed syncro blocking rings. This either happened midway in the 1990 production year or at the start of the 1991 production year.

Any 89-95 tranny with work with any MTX SHO. As mentioned the blocking rings changed sometime in mid '90, and the 89-91 E9xxxxx case units have an extra boss on the front, the 92-95 F2xxxx units don't have it.

Thanks for the replies. This is very good news. now i am that much closer to a white 91 with 74k,no rust or rips in the leather, and it has a plus hood. Also i will be able to finally put a Zex nitrous oxide kit in my 89 thumbs_u thumbs_u
It's the same as "SR 71" at least it will be soon!
Drivinhard do you inject your nitrous in all gears or just 3rd?
