mpg gauge

any body know of a gauge like the scangauge2 that will work on our gen 2 shos for real time mpg readings ?

There is a product called MPGuino that keeps tabs on your instantaneous gas mileage. You have to know which wire in your wiring harness controls the firing of an injector and you have to find the wire that has a speed input, and then ground and power of course. It is a kit and it costs about $45.00. It doesn't look too pretty and the adjustment knobs are on the top surface instead of the front, but that is how it comes. Best bet is to google mpguino.
I am interested in this gaget, when I find those two control wires I mentioned earlier. Untill then it is a no go.

You could just fill up totally and then next time your at the pump, divide the miles you drove by gallons. Isn't that hard, do you really need a gauge to tell you that?

I'll even show you say you filled up and drove 100 miles and then filled up and it took ten gallons of petro.

100/10=10 miles to the gallon. Simple!

You want a gauge that is like the one I had in my Uhaul truck? They dont work. I was in the red the entire time... Then again, bouncing off the speed limiter the entire trip probably didnt help any
