Folks-just seeking some input here:

What should ave. mpg be for current summer conditions with a/c on be?:
-mine is 94 atx (96k), have not done the 60K, but replaced O2 sensors around 95k
-gas mileage was 18 with the CEL (sensor codes) before O2 change
-now for summer it's around 21.5 (highway mostly & limited stop and go)
-the care is a weekend driver, no hard driving

Would I get some more mpg back after the 60K tuneup as well? TIA.
-H

I have a 93 ATX. 60k done at 61.5k and just turned 130k on the odo. I'll have my next 60k done again here in about a month when I get the cams replaced. My oil has been changed religiously every 3000 miles or 4 months (unles I was deployed). I've been getting about 21-22 mpg (315-330 mi per tank) in the city, with heavy stop and go and minimally (once per day.... maybe) allowing my runners to open. Last time I took a long trip I got 542, 496, and 512 miles on tank-fill with 100% highway (64 mph average via gps).

I'm thinking that a 60k may do you some good, but I've found that for some reason my SHO does get very good mileage compared to others with similiar mileage and mods. My previous SHO would NEVER get more than 440 miles on a tank, even on 100% hwy and an average speed of 58 mph.

*edit* sorry.. forgot to mention. I NEVER use my A/C, unless my wife and I are using the car (VERY rarely). But, it is my daily (nightly, I work nights) driver.
