There aren't really any sensors you can't get to easily when the motor is in the car so I'd skip those. Really, just re-sealing any leaking seals is about the only thing and if the old alternator is seized or the slightest bit questionable changing it now would be a much easier time.I'm helping out my cuz with a GenIII engine swap. Top of my list is a cam weld. What should I replace while its out? Which sensors, seals, Maybe timing chain? tensioners? Anything thats easier while its out.
