Is it just me or does everybody list the wrong front motor mount for a 91?

Everywhere I've checked (Autozone, Advance, O'reilly, Rockauto) all have a hydraulic mount with a single bolt on top, nothing NEAR what either of my 91's have....

I pulled a good mount off of a 93, It looks the same as the one I have in there now....

Anybody know where I can buy the CORRECT mount?

MTX motor mounts have always been a Ford-only item, and last I heard they were discontinued. The only MTX mount I'm aware that was ever available aftermarket was the tranny mount.

As Marcel said, give Josh at http://www.shonutperformance.com a try for some reinforced mounts.

Ok, I thought i was insane.. I ordered a mount from autozone, and it showed up, and it was a regular Taurus mount.. Everbody's computer shows that the mount fits the 3.0, 3.8 and SHO (lol)...

It's ok, I found a good mount at the pick and pull for 3 dollars today, I'll use that until I can afford a reinforced mount. (I assume all year MTX mounts were the same?)

Run some bolts through it to reinforce it yourself.

Yes, they are all the same.

I'm with him!

a 351 Windsor rod bolt set is enough hardware to reinforce all your mounts. Tighten the bolts just enough to start compressing the rubber. Use loc-tite or double nut them. Or use longer bolts and rear stabilizer link bushings to make a "softer" reinforced mount.

I just bought some bolts, and some window weld (polyeurathane), and made what appears to be an indestructable mount :naughty:

Done and Done.
Best mod ever. Plus its adjustable. Goto the track and just crank em down. A couple of grade 8 bolts from home depot will also work.
